Our nature is a challenge for hikers both summer and winter, and has been for many generations.

Sunnmørsalpane with their spectacular peaks and mountainformations differ from other areas.

Our fjords are spectacular and wild.

The last seven years Naturfestivalen has been arranged in these surrroundings.

It has become a tradition to open the festival in Vikegata the last saturday in July.

Naturfestivalen 2010 is arranged 31. july to 8. august.


We offer a large variety of outdoor family activities, including hike, bicycle rides, concert, cultural walks and boat trips.

For those who want to reach for the sky there is the possibility to climb exciting summits or to try paragliding.

Join both the locals and summer guests, and discover the nature that surrounds us!
